You want to know what changed between release_12 and release_11? Just diff tags/release_12 and tags/release_11. Subversion was designed with the modest goal of being a more sensible CVS. After installing AIM 6.5, these issues are being reported with users: 1. Vista Displays a Red X saying that its not connected to a Network even though it is. 2. That's exactly how I feel about Microsoft and Vista. A couple of points, though: (1) Unix still runs the whole world - and it's no more secure or securable than Windows; us dollar-sign-heads are just extremely fortunate that almost 100% of teenage Chinese hackers aim their malware at Windows.

Further Problems with Vista
In short, give developers a FIXED TARGET to aim at. Then we'll see a lot more software ported to linux - and a lot more uses as everyone flees from Microsoft-in-the-head. The developer model of Linux is orders of magnitude more defined than WinDoS. More organized, yes - except in the abovementioned critical areas
